Hello, While the original way this suggestion was reported is not my preferred way and would also have made me grumpy, I don't see any valid reason for this bug to not be valid. If upstream published a version higher than the one we have, our users are perfectly entitled to report a (wishlist) bug pointing to it. Unless the version we have in Debian is indeed the upstream-publiched higher version (but with a lower version number), I think this bug shouldn't be closed as is....even if nothing enforces us to upgrade to latest upstream of course.
