jessie/sid here, and I noticed the following: Start windowmaker, and the keyboard shortcuts to switch workspaces do work.
Start up emacs 23.4+1-4, and the keyboard shortcuts to switch workspaces don't do anything anymore. Restart windowmaker from the menu and the keyboard shortcuts work again, with emacs still running. Hope this helps a little, Greetings, Johan
