Indeed, if that did not apply the ruling would probably have been: it's
up to the maintainers, which, although involved, I am not. So you might
have already persuaded them.

Just for the record, I am stopping with this discussion, I don't think
it is going anywhere anymore. Dear maintainers, you now know my stand
point in this case, rule how you see fit.
