Package: munin-async Version: 2.0.16-2~bpo70+1 Severity: normal The munin-async package (both in unstable and in wheezy-backports) provide a logrotate rule file, but munin-asyncd already does a rotation on its files, and remove the older files (configurable via command-line parameters). With the current configuration, logrotate leave a useless, empty file and compress a copy. So, if the munin master hasn't come for a long time, munin-async won't find the older data.
The logrotate rule for munin-async should be completely removed, as munin-asyncd will do the job itself. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.1 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=fr_BE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_BE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages munin-async depends on: ii adduser 3.113+nmu3 ii munin-common 2.0.16-2~bpo70+1 ii munin-node 2.0.16-2~bpo70+1 ii perl 5.14.2-21 ii perl-modules 5.14.2-21 munin-async recommends no packages. munin-async suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
