Hi Martin, et all. According to mdadm(8) one should use --freeze-reshape in the early boot process and that really seems reasonable... can we add this to the initramfs scripts and the init.d scripts? If the system failed during reshape we should probably not try to continue with that automatically... especially as it will simply fail in most cases.
