Hmm...  I don't think I can reconstruct what I did to cause the error.
Maybe I was unlucky and src/completion.rb had a newer timestamp than
completion.c in my git checkout.  Is that possible?

I did first try building without the debian scripts, just by running
./configure && make.  However, I don't think any of the commands I ran
would have either deleted completion.c (make clean doesn't do it) or
updated completion.rb.  So I can't explain it.

Anyhow, when I do a fresh git clone and run ./debian/rules build, it
works fine.  Sorry for the false report.
