Hi. AFAIU you're also upstream for LILO!? :) I think it cannot harm (yes I know, right now you do not support EFI, but who knows what the future brings ... and even though the whole thing is anyway just voluntary), that lilo registers it's name at the "EFI System Partition Subdirectory Registry": http://www.uefi.org/specs/esp_registry I guess that probably needs to be done by some officially authorised lilo person...
