To be sure that it's not an upstream bug with nvidia driver, I installed Archlinux.
Actually, Archlinux use nvidia driver 325.15 + Kernel 3.10.5 and the result for "optirun -vv glxgears" : > [ 685.720509] [DEBUG]Reading file: /etc/bumblebee/bumblebee.conf > [ 685.720883] [DEBUG]optirun version 3.2.1 starting... > [ 685.720896] [DEBUG]Active configuration: > [ 685.720901] [DEBUG] bumblebeed config file: > /etc/bumblebee/bumblebee.conf > [ 685.720905] [DEBUG] X display: :8 > [ 685.720909] [DEBUG] LD_LIBRARY_PATH: /usr/lib/nvidia:/usr/lib32/nvidia > [ 685.720913] [DEBUG] Socket path: /var/run/bumblebee.socket > [ 685.720925] [DEBUG] Accel/display bridge: auto > [ 685.720928] [DEBUG] VGL Compression: proxy > [ 685.720931] [DEBUG] VGLrun extra options: > [ 685.720934] [DEBUG] Primus LD Path: /usr/lib/primus:/usr/lib32/primus > [ 685.720953] [DEBUG]Using auto-detected bridge virtualgl > [ 686.827120] [INFO]Response: Yes. Is it possible to use "debian/module" folder from 325.08 with "debian" folder (rules file etc...) from 304.88 driver to test if the problem come from the rules file (or other file) 2013/8/6 Francesco "kurojishi" Berni <kuroji...@gmail.com> > On 08/06/2013 10:47 AM, LOMBARD Maxime wrote: > > I tried this option too, same result than "nvidia-current". > > > > I tried something, i re-package myself the Experimental driver after to > > modify the rules file (i replace "module=nvidia-$(current)" by > > "module=nvidia") but i don't know if it's suffisant. > > I have no error during the built, i install without problems my package, > > the module "nvidia" is create but when i launch "optirun -vv glxgears", > > i have still the same error => could not load the second GPU driver... > > > > I don't understand this problem between 304.88 and 325.08 drivers... > > > > > same thing there, tried every possible iteration(in bumblebee.conf and > xorg.conf.nvidia) of the driver name > > > -- > Francesco Berni - kurojishi > Registered Linux User #512920 > GPG: A1FB5252 > >
