There's indeed a problem related to the 3 variants of the A4 options : both 14 and A4 autoduplex will select iso_a4_210x297mm whereas the last one should set om_a4-duplex_210.06x293.75mm. I've patched the package, regenerated and installed, and this seems to be perfect now when selecting plain A4 ins page size options. Thus, it seems we have a patch. I'm not sure either of the effects on the original https://bugs.launchpad.net/hplip/+bug/487695. Hope this helps.
