Hi, thanks for your report. Unfortunately I can't reproduce your issue here. I can type names of new save games into a text field even if several minutes have passed. I can also modify the path to sound files for example.
I need your help to narrow this problem down. Can you describe a way to reproduce your issue reliably? Does it make any difference if you run the game in fullscreen or windowed mode? If you run the game in windowed mode, what happens if you open another application like an editor? Can you still type in text there? Do you use a custom kernel? If yes, please try running the game with the current kernel in sid. Do you experience other problems besides the non-functional input text fields? The more information the better. Regards, Markus
