Package: cu Version: 1.07-17 Severity: normal 'cu' forces hardware flow control when invoked against a tty/serial device directly:
cu -l /dev/usb/ttyUSB0 The tty is unconditionally set to hardware flow control, even when previously disabled by 'stty' (stty -F /dev/usb/ttyUSB0 -crtscts). This is due to the following line in cu.c (at or near line #602): sport.uuconf_u.uuconf_sdirect.uuconf_fhardflow = TRUE; A patch to add new command line flags to manipulate this setting was posted to the NetBSD lists some time ago. Perhaps it could be incorporated: http://mail-index.netbsd.org/tech-userlevel/2001/10/24/0000.html -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.12 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages cu depends on: ii libc6 2.3.5-4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
