DAViCal has been working fine with iceowl-extension for my calendar and tasks I decided to try it for contacts (vCards) I copied the URL from iceowl-extension into various address book clients: - Evolution - SOGo Connector for icedove - aCal for Android - CardDAV-sync for Android Evolution would happily store vCards into the URL, but none of the other clients liked it Later, I discovered that it is necessary to set up a separate URL for address books. I created this other URL through the DAViCal admin page. Now, the other clients are working. Should DAViCal have rejected the vCard entries inserted by Evolution? Should it give a more meaningful error when there is some mismatch like this in future? None of the clients nor the Apache error log gave me any idea what I was doing wrong.
