That's not possible unless gdm3 is also fixed. gdmflexiserver is currently provided in /usr/bin by gdm3, so we can't ship one there unless conflicting (not possible). lightdm actually ships it in /usr/lib/lightdm or something, but then adds this path to $PATH, which is really not something I'd like to do on Debian.
