Package: audacity
Version: 2.0.1-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,
*** Please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?

audacity seems to create a /var/tmp directory without asking before #. That
works as root, but never as user at debian. Moreover it is not wishable to
create directories anywhere in the filesystem.
