thanks for taking over the package, I haven't used the program for a long time now so it's much better to have a maintainer that uses it.
Most of what I did in freetype1 -> freetype2 was just research on how freetype1 differed from freetype2 in terms of laying out just the few lines that are placed on the image. They're quite different.
