And one more update: I was now able to get a working initrd output, yaiy :). This link [0] got me on the right track, adding the i915 kernel module to the initrd and therefore having an early Kernel-Mode-Setting helped. And from then on, everything else, including X works great with the Intel graphics driver.
So now just the issue with X, kexec and nouveau remains. And the case where it is not possible for someone to add a recent nouveau/i915/radeon module to the initrd.
