thanks for your interest in the PLM. I hope that you will like it.

The programmatic interface to the scala compiler was rewamped between
scala 2.9 and 2.10. I tend to think that the scala version in debian
should be updated, instead of extending PLM to support ancient
versions of external software. 

According to #706633, quite a lot of people think that scala 2.10
should be packaged. I was planning to give it a try, but I didn't find
the time yet.

As for the versionned library of scala, there is a wontfix bug against
scala where the maintainers say that there is no need for such a thing.
