Package: acpi-support Version: 0.141-2 Severity: wishlist in /usr/share/acpi-support/screenblank is a big switch to detect & use the installed screenserver. it provides a hardcoded priority list in case several screenservers are avaiable. i love the screen to be locked when suspending but i would prefere a way where the screenlock package maintainer can provide the logic how to trigger the screenlock and include this in the "Debian alternatives system".
the problem hit me cause i installed i3lock (and dropped xtrlock) and lost the feature. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'oldstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.9-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages acpi-support depends on: ii acpi-fakekey 0.141-2 ii acpi-support-base 0.141-2 ii acpid 1:2.0.19-1 ii lsb-base 4.1+Debian12 ii pm-utils 1.4.1-11 ii x11-xserver-utils 7.7~3 Versions of packages acpi-support recommends: ii rfkill 0.4-2 pn xscreensaver | gnome-screensaver <none> Versions of packages acpi-support suggests: pn radeontool <none> ii vbetool 1.1-3 ii xinput 1.6.0-1 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
