As I wrote, there is no. But the error message that was written by fuse
was:
   fuse failed. Common problems:
    - fuse kernel module not installed (modprobe fuse)
    - invalid options -- see usage message

It is unlikely that the bug is in encfs as this was working for ages
now and is exactly broken by the upgrade of udev/consolekit.

Moreover, after the upgrade the /sys/fs/fuse/connections was not mounted
but the module was loaded. But mounting this path manually didn't help
to solve the bug.

Ah, yes, and there was some udev errors in syslog while upgrading:

I am not sure if that is related to the problem.

The instruction is wrong in some stuff. 1. you don't need to modprobe
fuse as it is load by udev (or fuse init script, I am not sure.) Then,
never ever use sudo; especially not as root!

The rest is fine; especially tho add the user to fuse group.

By the way, did you reboot after the upgrade? I did.
