Package: gnubg Version: 1.01.003-1 Severity: important Tags: upstream Steps to reproduce:
- start a new match - resign - go back through the game history on the resign move - ask for a hint (e.g. with Ctrl-H) gnubg will pop-up a Gtk window with the following message "ERROR:gtkcube.c:980:CreateCubeAnalysis: code should not be reached" (FWIW the same happens on the console if you're not using the GUI) Immediatelly after gnubg terminates. The error per se is not a big deal. The problem is that there is no way of recovering. In particular, if you're playing a long multi-game match and, by mistake, end up hinting on a resign move, gnubg will abort losing the match state. (This is why I've picked severity important, but YMMV...) ...with my deepest thanks for maintaining gnubg in Debian!
