Package: postgresql-9.3 Version: 9.3~rc1-2 Severity: wishlist I wonder whether --data-checksums / -k can be made the default for creating new clusters starting with PG 9.3.
If not it'd still be good to capture the rationale for that decision. I am aware of /etc/postgresql-common/createcluster.conf -> initdb_options and that has worked nicely for me.
