Package: jabberd2 Version: 2.0s10-1 Severity: normal Hi,
the package descriptions read: ================================================================================== [...] With additional transports and/or services, Jabber supports connecting to AIM, ICQ, IRC, MSN and a lot of other chat networks. These transports and services are provided in separate packages. [...] ================================================================================== However, the transports provided by Debian for the 1.x versions of jabberd don't seem to be intended for jabberd2. There's also no equivalent of jabber-dev in jabberd2. The transports typically need jabberd.h etc. Maybe some forward porting work is needed here? bye, Roland -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: sparc (sparc64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-sparc64 Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_GB.UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
