Thanks, The Orginial Programm name is Ddrescue but since there are dd_rescue exist and Debian package guidlines dont accept '_' in package name the other recover tool name changed to ddrescue. this package got 'g' because it is the GNU Recover tool. That is why I started the synopsis line with 'the GNU data recovery tool' to avoid confusing.
