Hi! It seems that libxmu-dev is also missing from the build depends. At least it won't compile without it in my sarge pbuilder environment.
Looking at ./configure output I found out that it has problems doing the test for libglut. Since freeglut3-dev was already in build depends I did some more searching and found that the configure check for glut adds -lXmu to LIBS if glut is found. So I tried and it turned out that adding libxmu-dev to the wine build depends helped. I'm not sure if this dependency is also required for sid, but I don't see how it could cause any problems.
