Package: udftools
Version: 1.0.0b3-14.2
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream

The package won't build for debugging purposes without -O2, even if you use

$ export DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS="nostrip noopt"
$ debian/rules ...                 #or
$ debian/rules ... CC='gcc -O0 -g'

-- the (upstream) makefiles have -O2 hard coded inside. A dirty fix could be

$ find -name Makefile -exec sed -i s/-O2//g '{}' \;

but I'm not sure what it's going to break.

Cheers,

        Julius
