A workaround to the issue is to downgrade spice-client-gtk to version 0.20-0nocelt3.
I installed the following old packages:
libspice-client-glib-2.0-8_0.20-0nocelt3_amd64.deb
libspice-client-gtk-2.0-4_0.20-0nocelt3_amd64.deb
spice-client-glib-usb-acl-helper_0.20-0nocelt3_amd64.deb
spice-client-gtk_0.20-0nocelt3_amd64.deb
