eval method written in that way did not work as expected in case when JSON::RPC::Client is unavailable and only JSON::RPC::Legacy::Client is present in a system. > Was it broken two months ago when you released 2.2.9-1? This problem was unreproducible on my laptop while I had both versions of libjson-rpc-perl in my system. (I have installed old version manually from cpan long time ago and forgot about it.) When user reported the problem I had found and had deleted old module and problem has appeared in my system.
