If you add this as a remote you can then just pull master: http://www.fettunta.org/~gares/BZED/lua-json.git I did a bit more than just updating the upstream sources. I've also removed the transitional package and added a test to the build process. Please, take a look at the merge, since it seems 1.3.2 is not a direct descendent of the commit you used for 1.3. The package builds fine, loads, and passes the simple test. I did not test it harder that that.
