Package: transmission-daemon Version: 2.52-3+nmu1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
the defaults chosen by dh_installinit is inappropriate for transmission-daemon. The .postinst contains a line `update-rc.d transmission-daemon defaults', which results in creation /etc/rc2.d/S01transmission-daemon It is not a problem for a simple setup, but in a case when the storage pools are network or automounted, they may not exist yet at S01 moment. For example, autofs has S02 priority and rc.local has S04 priority. As rc.local may do something host-specific, I would set transmission-daemon priority no less than S05. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.2 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages transmission-daemon depends on: ii adduser 3.113+nmu3 ii libc6 2.13-38 ii libcurl3-gnutls 7.26.0-1+wheezy4 ii libevent-2.0-5 2.0.19-stable-3 ii libminiupnpc5 1.5-2 ii libnatpmp1 20110808-3 ii libssl1.0.0 1.0.1e-2 ii lsb-base 4.1+Debian8+deb7u1 ii transmission-common 2.52-3+nmu1 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.7.dfsg-13 Versions of packages transmission-daemon recommends: ii transmission-cli 2.52-3+nmu1 transmission-daemon suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/transmission-daemon/settings.json -- debconf information: -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
