It seems that the method replace in ByteVector class in the TagLib implementation had some troubles with some kind of tags (.flac tags seem to be the problem) This has been acknowledge in the github repostiroy of the library (https://github.com/taglib/taglib/issues/308) And has been corrected in the master branch. (https://github.com/taglib/taglib/pull/309) Please, consider applying the patch to the current Debian package.
