Mainly the fact that the upstream lacks any comprehensive test suite, and each new release brings new and different reports of font breakage in Debian. > If not, could you check and upload it, please? The package there claims in the changelog: * Now make it "multiple upstream source" style instead of "tar-in-tar". New style makes it easier to check source code with search engine like sources.debian.net. But the package is *not* in "multiple upstream source" format; instead it merges all of the sources into a single tar.xz which does not match the upstream sources. - add libfreetype6-dbg package (Closes: #281558) Nack on this. We should not be adding more -dbg packages to the archive. Anyone who cares about this should spend their time helping to make ddebs a reality instead. So, there seem to be some good changes in this package, but it's not in a state that should be uploaded to the archive. -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world.
