Package: php4 Version: 4:4.4.0-4 Severity: normal I am using PHP4's mime_content_type() function to idetify files during an data import operation. Previously (version unknown, but current as of March 2005), all file were identified correctly. However, I have attempted to perform an import for the first time in a long time, and have discovered that AVI files are no longer detected. the function returns an empty string instead of "video/x-msvideo".
The magic/magic.mime databases are up to date and in fact, detect said AVI files just fine, leading me to suspect that the problem lies with PHP4. Other file types don't seem to be affected, I've tested with quicktime files and so on. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (600, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i486) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-386 Locale: LANG=en_GB, LC_CTYPE=en_GB (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages php4 depends on: ii libapache2-mod-php4 4:4.4.0-4 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii php4-common 4:4.4.0-4 Common files for packages built fr php4 recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
