thanks for pinging - I somehow missed this.
Could you please explain why you recompressed the (small sized) upstream
tarball. Was anything removed. If you want to push something md5sum
different than it is provided by upstream please document this either in
text od better code (get-orig-source target).
Further hint: You might like to drop
override_dh_builddeb:
dh_builddeb -- -Zxz -z9
from your rules file - it is not needed any more.
