Package: boinc-nvidia-cuda Version: 7.2.33+dfsg-1 Severity: normal Hi,
I have a small gift for you: libcuda1-i386:i386. That's a real package that can be recommended from boinc-nvidia-cuda:amd64 and it will care for the installation of libcuda1:i386 (if foreign architecture i386 is enabled on amd64). Provides and multiarch foreign don't work together, so this is the working solution for cross-arch Recommends for now. I would suggest the following control.in change: -@Recommends: libcuda1-ia32 [amd64]|nvidia-current [amd64]|libcuda-5.0-1 [amd64], ia32-libs [amd64]|nvidia-current [amd64]|libcuda-5.0-1 [amd64] +@Recommends: libcuda1-i386 [amd64]|nvidia-current [amd64], ia32-libs [amd64]|nvidia-current [amd64]|libcuda-5.0-1 [amd64] libcuda1-ia32 is gone long ago ... the libcuda-5.0-1 alternative needs to be removed, otherwise the Recomends is already satisfied by libcuda1:amd64. I'm not sure what you want to achieve with the ia32-libs Recommends, but this does not work anyway since libcuda-5.0-1 is already satisfied by libcuda1:amd64. Andreas PS: NVIDIA has declared CUDA on 32-bit x86 as deprecated, so this may disappear at some point in the future ... -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
