Package: createrepo
Version: 0.9.9-1
Severity: important
Tags: patch

Hi,

running “createrepo -s sha .” no longer produces repositories
that can be used with production CentOS 5 instances. This has
been reported upstream:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=500364

This has been fixed upstream. The patch can be seen at:

http://createrepo.baseurl.org/gitweb?p=createrepo.git;a=commitdiff;h=7c375657274617649a69c72931a433cf1a6bc505

I can confirm that hand-applying the patch to the relevant files
(see “debsums errors” below) fixes the problem.

(Actually, just “createrepo .” suddenly changing behaviour was
very surprising, but I guess that’s upstream’s fault, not yours.)
