Package: libleveldb1 Version: 0+20120530.gitdd0d562-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
As seen in closed bug #701075, "leveldb: install missing component 'memenv'," I am also unable to build bitcoin or similar programs from source, due to the missing libmemenv (on make, receive error "g++: error: /.../src/leveldb/libmemenv.a: No such file or directory.") The file is not present in /lib or any other part of the system, despite having libleveldb1 and -dev installed. It was mentioned in #701075 that you believed it is a part of the standard Wheezy package, but it appears that it is not. Thank you so much for all your work in making the best OS in the world, and you have my full cheering and encouragement to help fix this bug! Unfortunately I am not a coder and so cannot help more directly. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.2 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-686-pae (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libleveldb1 depends on: ii libc6 2.13-38 ii libgcc1 1:4.7.2-5 ii libsnappy1 1.0.5-2 ii libstdc++6 4.7.2-5 ii multiarch-support 2.13-38 libleveldb1 recommends no packages. libleveldb1 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
