Package: debconf
Version: 1.4.58
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

The current colorset of debconf with the dialog interface is not
necessarily suited to all users: some are visually impaired and need
high contrast, others are color-blind and need other colorsets, etc.

There should be a facility for choosing color, or at least choosing
between predefined colorsets. It would particularly be useful to have it
during the install process for instance.

Regards,
Samuel

Now I know someone out there is going to claim, "Well then, UNIX is intuitive,
because you only need to learn 5000 commands, and then everything else follows
from that! Har har har!"
(Andy Bates in comp.os.linux.misc, on "intuitive interfaces", slightly
defending Macs.)
