Running it from the cmd line, unmodified, results in a mail as expected.

I'll add --debug 50 (can you suggest a good debug level to try? is 100
insane?) tomorrow night, to see the result independently from the
--range ones.

I'll try --print in two days time, if the above fails :) I've tried
--print from the command line, since it supresses the mail-out I expect
it'd work (but mail to root, well, cron would mail the stdout to root),
but ideally logwatch will do the mailing.
