Package: gs-esp Version: 8.15.1.dfsg.1-1 Severity: important Please reassign this bug to gs-cjk-resource or other appropriate package.
I noticed GhostScript viewer 'gv' or some PPD for CUPS always fail by missing Japanese fonts (gs-cjk-resource covers them) since gs-esp 8. And I found this problem happened only if they include -dSAFER or -dPARANOIDSAFER option. ----------------------------- $ gs -sDEVICE=x11 -dTextAlphaBits=4 -dGraphicsAlphaBits=2 -dMaxBitmap=10000000 -dPARANOIDSAFER -dNOPLATFONTS t.ps ESP Ghostscript 815.01 (2005-09-22) Copyright (C) 2004 artofcode LLC, Benicia, CA.
