After recent 'sudo' update this is the warning message I'm getting: sudo: value `0022' is invalid for option `umask' Additionally, an email is being sent to 'root': ------------ Subject: *** SECURITY information for debian *** debian : Jan 14 19:59:41 : rjc : problem with defaults entries ; TTY=pts/4 ; PWD=/home/rjc ; ------------ I have a custom '/etc/sudoers.d/local': Defaults env_keep += DISPLAY Defaults setenv Defaults umask = 0022 Defaults umask_override Defaults editor = /usr/bin/editor Defaults insults %adm ALL=(ALL:ALL) NOPASSWD:ALL with the default '/etc/sudoers' file. I don't think I need to add that this setup worked fine up until yesterday.
