Source: ruby-defaults Version: 1:1.9.3 Severity: wishlist Dear maintainer,
While in the process of removing build-deps on ruby1.8-dev for packages of mine that build binary extensions (and adding ruby2.0-dev), I thought it would be good to have a ruby-build-dep (or something) dependency package that would pull all the -dev packages currently available. This way, a binNMU would be enough to drop support for an old Ruby version, or add support for a shiny new experimental ruby version (provided of course they compile, but that would also mean finding out earlier if they don't). What do you think about that ?
