Package: exuberant-ctags
Version: 1:5.9~svn20110310-6
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream

exuberant-ctags does not support the Scala programming language. When
ran on *.scala source files (or recurisvely on directories that contains
such fiels), exuberant-ctags produces essentially empty tags files.

It would be very handy to have this fixed.

There seems to be at least some ctags support as part of the emacs-mode
for Scala (see for instance https://github.com/scala/scala-dist/pull/95)
but it didn't flow back into exuberant-ctags, and hence cannot be used
in standalone mode, independently from a specific Editor.

Many thanks for maintaining exuberant-ctags in Debian!
Cheers.
