Agreed.

Also, I don't really understand the threat model here.  While it's
theoretically possible that Valve could insert Trojan code into their
games to take over the system of a Debian uploader, that seems a bit
far-fetched.  Certainly, I would say that any Debian contributor who is
running a web browser on their development system is already accepting
more security risk than would be added by installing games from Steam.
