Package: enigmail Followup-For: Bug #719644 Hello,
I instrumented gpg and found out that the message with only the 'ü' is sent to gpg in latin1 encoding even though the command line uses --charset utf-8. So it doesn't come as a big surprise that things are fishy. BTW, I upgraded to 1.6 from unstable now and there the problem doesn't exist.
