asused was created for RIPE NCC members who wanted to get an insight in the usage of their own resources. Its replacement, the IP Analyser, was built with the same goal in mind. However, authenticating became a requirement because this tool doesn’t just use public information from the RIPE Database, but also uses internal, private information from the RIPE Registry. If the use case is “displaying detailed ASN and IP resource information from the command line” then I believe you would be much better off using and contributing to the RIPEstat Text Service: https://stat.ripe.net/docs/text asused is completely unsupported by the RIPE NCC and will always lack essential modern features such as IPv6 support. I’d RoQA it and focus on RIPEstat instead. Cheers, Alex Band Product Manager RIPE NCC -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
