it would, in my opinion, be a good idea to package the new php5 dh sequence independently as having it coupled makes it incredibly hard to backport modules that use this sequence to wheezy. If it had been packaged independently it would make it would be much easier to backport the dh sequence for those packages that build-depend on it.
