No, but they are "maintainers of the relevant documentation", that is
the Policy. And they don't just maintain the package, see the delegation
text.

So let me ask you again: do you choose to ignore the requirement that
"maintainers of the relevent documentation" (that is the Policy editors)
make decisions initially?

Or do you think defining policies such as package dependencies do not
fall within the Policy team delegation?
