Package: esound Version: 0.2.36-1 Followup-For: Bug #246317 Hello,
whenever I log in, the GNOME-session locks up after displaying the splash-image. When I switch back to the console and "killall esd" GNOME startup continues as usual (but without sound). This happens since I upgraded my Linux-kernel to 2.6.14.2. I then tried kernel 2.6.13.4 but esd still locks GNOME. Then I switched back to 2.6.14.2 and upgraded alsa-base and libasound2 to the latest version in experimental, but still the same. Everything worked fine until kernel 2.6.12.6.
