You could depend on some icon package like the hicolor-icon-theme and link to one of the standard icons. There are multiple image or icon packages available for Debian. Check out "aptitude search icons" for examples. You could also take a screenshot, highlight some interesting aspect of the game (persons, items, background) and crop the image until it fits your needs. Please provide at least a 128x128 pixel image in png format for your desktop file, so that it looks good on Gnome 3. Then you just have to convert this image to a 32x32 pixel xpm file for your Debian menu. I created a minimalistic M letter in ASCII letters on a black background for the matanza package.
