The build failure of coreutils on hurd causes 'df' to look for the old and missing /var/run/mtab instead of /etc/mtab, when booting hurd with sysvinit, and all programs expecting df to work (like the scripts in the initscripts package) is unable to work properly. This causes hurd installations to misbehave by default.
<URL: http://bugs.debian.org/d737759 > is a related bug report suggestiong a workaround, but according to the hurd porters only coreutils need a fix and the workaround is not wanted. Any chance of a maintainer uploading of a fixed version of coreutils soon? If not, is it ok with an NMU? -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
